Welcome to Teach With AI!

“Wonder of the Future” — Created by Rich Klein using Midjourney

Welcome to Teach With AI (TWAI). A space where teachers, professors, and parents can discover how artificial intelligence can make learning more creative, efficient, and fun.

AI is reshaping education, but most of the conversation is overwhelming; filled with jargon, fear, and click-bait. TWAI takes a different approach: we keep it practical, friendly, and designed for the people who work with students every day.

TWAI focuses on:

  • Practical lesson ideas for every level, from kindergarten to college.

  • Subject-specific examples in math, science, history, literature, and the arts.

  • Classroom management tips for using AI to save time on grading, feedback, and planning.

  • Homeschool resources that parents can put to use right away.

  • Fun experiments with AI art, video, and storytelling tools to spark student creativity.

  • AI-supported lessons and strategies for weaving AI directly into student learning and workflows.

  • Big-picture reflections on ethics, the future of learning, and what AI means for education.

Our Philosophy: Creativity at the Core

I believe AI isn’t just about efficiency, it’s about amplifying human creativity. From helping students illustrate a story in English class, to simulating scientific experiments, to generating historical reenactments, creative AI tools open new doors for imagination across every discipline. By blending technology with curiosity, teachers can find new ways to inspire students and students will find new ways to express themselves.

Facing the Wave Together

I recognize the fear and skepticism around AI tools in academia. Concerns about plagiarism, academic integrity, and dependence are very real, but the tidal wave of AI in education isn’t slowing down. Without guidance, students will use AI in the wrong ways. Rather than resisting, educators who get ahead of this change will be better equipped to prepare students for the future of work.

I’ll explore not just “what AI can do,” but how to integrate AI thoughtfully into student learning and workflows — building skills, supporting creativity, and reinforcing ethical practices that prepare students for the future.

I’ve spent over 20 years working in higher education technology and I’ve seen multiple waves of change. AI is probably the biggest wave, but it opens up so many possibilities.
